Why Vuno is different
Vuno is not designed to taste identical from bottle to bottle. It is designed to preserve the character of a very small harvest.
The October 2025 harvest was recorded across 28 batches, with owner names, tree counts, places, and harvest dates tied to the oil. That makes Vuno more than a premium EVOO; it is a traceable harvest story you can bring to the table.
Vuno is kept batch-specific, so the story of date, place, trees, and owner remains part of the bottle.
Families use nets, rakes, ladders, and bags rather than machinery during harvest.
Olives travel to Tragjas the same day, about 23 miles away, for cleaning, crushing, and pressing.

Traceability
Each Vuno batch connects the oil to a real harvest record: batch number, date, coordinates, tree owner, and tree count.
28 batches were recorded between October 4 and October 31, 2025.
The oil is from olives harvested from trees belonging to widows and elderly residents of Vuno, ensuring their olives are not left unpicked. This provides them with oil for their families and a source of income.
Batch records connect the bottle back to real places around Vuno, not a generic origin claim.
Each record shows how many trees contributed to that batch.
Harvest
The Vuno harvest is physical, local, and recorded day by day.
Olives are gathered with nets, rakes, ladders, and bags. No machinery is used during the harvest. Each day's locations are recorded, the trees are counted, and the olives move toward pressing before the character of the fruit is lost.

Production
After harvest, olives travel about 23 miles to the olive oil factory in Tragjas.

Tree locations are recorded and olives are gathered by hand during the October 2025 harvest.

The olives are taken the same day to Tragjas, then cleaned, crushed into paste, stirred, separated, and filtered once.

MiraMira's share is filled into dark half-liter glass bottles, preserving the character of each batch.
Vuno and Kaninë
Kaninë is the bottle you reach for often: premium, consistent, and made for everyday Mediterranean cooking.
Vuno is the bottle you slow down for: very small batch, 100% traceable, and shaped by the unique character of each harvest.
How to use Vuno
Vuno is at its best when you can actually taste the character of each batch — drizzled over simple food, finished at the table, and shared across dishes that let the oil speak for itself.

Bread, olives, and tomatoes are one of the clearest ways to notice the personality of a Vuno batch.

A simple plate with fresh tomatoes and soft cheese lets Vuno sit right where it belongs — on top, noticeable, and clean.

Vuno works beautifully on a Mediterranean table where people can taste, compare, and talk about the flavor.

Finished over seafood pasta, Vuno adds a layer of flavor that feels bright, specific, and far from generic.

Clean seafood dishes make it easier to taste the difference from batch to batch.

Good olive oil belongs on generous dishes too — especially when the goal is flavor people actually remember.
